Iris × hollandica

Dutch irises produce elegant flowers on tall slender stems from May to June, available in blue, purple, yellow, white, and bronze. Excellent as cut flowers with stems lasting two weeks in water. Easy to grow in well-drained soil. Often sold as mixed colours. One of the most popular late spring bulbs for UK gardens.

How to grow iris × hollandica

Plant 10-12cm deep in autumn. Excellent cut flower lasting up to two weeks. Needs full sun and well-drained soil. May need winter protection in exposed sites. Plant in groups of 10+ for best display. Available in many colour combinations.
