Planning your garden visit
The UK and Ireland have some of the finest gardens in the world, from grand National Trust estates to tiny cottage gardens bursting with colour. Many gardens offer seasonal highlights: snowdrops in February, bluebells in April, roses in June, and autumn colour from September.
Check opening times before you visit as many gardens have seasonal hours. The Royal Horticultural Society runs five flagship gardens open year-round. National Trust members get free access to hundreds of gardens across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
