Camassia leichtlinii

Camassia leichtlinii

Camassia produces tall spikes of star-shaped flowers in blue-purple or white from May to June. A North American native that thrives in moist UK meadows and borders. One of the best bulbs for heavy damp soil where most others fail. Naturalises well in grass. The blue forms are particularly striking in prairie-style planting.
