How to care for satin pothos
Bright indirect light to maintain the silver variegation. Water when the top 3cm of compost dries. Less tolerant of overwatering than regular pothos — ensure good drainage. Feed monthly spring-summer. Minimum 12°C.
Watering
Water when the top 2–3cm of compost feels dry. Roughly weekly.
Propagation
- Stem cuttings with a node in water or sphagnum moss
Toxicity
Contains calcium oxalate crystals. Causes mouth irritation and vomiting if chewed by pets.
