How to care for pitcher plant

Stand in a tray of rainwater or distilled water at all times — never use tap water. Full sun or the brightest spot available. Use only sphagnum peat or a carnivorous plant compost mix — never standard potting compost. No fertiliser. Needs a cold winter dormancy (0-10°C) for 3-4 months.
