Why visit Berrington Hall?
Berrington Hall is useful for seeing how an eighteenth-century landscape and its productive gardens fit together. It was Capability Brown's final complete landscape project. The main walled garden contains an orchard, flower borders and vegetable beds, while the surviving curved wall is an unusual feature of Brown's design. A new flower garden was completed in 2025 after a long programme of research and restoration. Parkland walks continue beyond the formal garden around the pool and woodland.
