Unusual trailing hoya with curtains of thin, soft, needle-like leaves on delicate stems. Produces clusters of small fuzzy white flowers with a sweet lemon scent in autumn. A Himalayan native that tolerates cooler UK rooms.

How to care for hoya linearis
Bright indirect light. Unlike other hoyas, this one prefers slightly more moisture — water when the top 2cm of compost dries. Needs good drainage; add perlite to the compost. Mist regularly. Feed monthly spring-summer. Tolerates cooler temperatures than most hoyas, down to 8°C.

Water when the top 2–3cm of compost feels dry. Roughly weekly.

- Stem cuttings in sphagnum moss or perlite
