Taunton Flower Show returns to Vivary Park on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 August 2026. Billed as the oldest flower show in the country, it is a two-day festival in the heart of Taunton with a competition marquee, a floral marquee of national-standard horticultural displays, designer gardens, arena entertainment, and traders from across Somerset and beyond.
What’s at the show
- Competition Marquee with around 250 classes for amateur gardeners, floral artists, crafters, and children, open to all
- Floral Marquee with displays mounted by horticultural traders showcasing flowers and plants
- Designer Gardens demonstrating planting schemes built on site
- Ready Steady Garden competitive build-out where teams design and plant a garden against the clock
- Cottage Plots new for 2026, smaller showcase plots for entrants
- Arena entertainment running across both days, plus live music
- Local and national traders with horticulture, garden goods, crafts, and food
- Members Marquee for ticket holders who upgrade to membership, with seating, refreshments, and parking close to the show
Show times
| Day | Public opening | Closing |
|---|---|---|

Tickets
Tickets are sold in advance through the Taunton Flower Show ticket page and are cheaper than gate prices. Children go free with a paying adult. A membership upgrade gives access to both days, the Members Marquee, and parking close to the show, and supports the charity that runs the event.
Getting there
The show is at Vivary Park, Taunton, Somerset TA1 3QF, a short walk from Taunton town centre and Taunton railway station. There are three pedestrian entrances:

The organisers recommend Wilton Gate or Mount Gate for the quickest entry.
