Gladiolus nanus

Gladiolus × colvillei

Dwarf gladiolus hybrids produce delicate spikes of funnel-shaped flowers in a range of colours from May to June. More compact and refined than large-flowered types. Cultivars like 'The Bride' (white) and 'Nymph' (white with pink) are cottage garden classics. Reasonably hardy in sheltered UK gardens with good drainage.
