Why visit Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens?
Plas Cadnant has been under restoration since 1996 after decades of neglect. Its ten acres divide into three clear areas: a walled garden with curving walls and a pool, a valley garden crossed by a river and three waterfalls, and an upper woodland garden with rocky outcrops and the remains of a nineteenth-century folly. The continuing restoration is part of the interest, allowing visitors to see how a historic site can be recovered without freezing it at one date.
